Sidney “Sid” Elyea is a respected presence in the Mendota Heights, Minnesota, community who manages diverse projects with RJ Ryan Construction, Inc. Spearheading competitive bidding processes, Sidney Elyea has overseen a variety of new construction and tenant improvement projects over the past two years for clients such as Viking Electric, Globus Transport, and Surly Brewing.

Completing his degree in architectural construction technology at St. Cloud Technical and Community College, Sid Elyea engaged as a project manager and estimator with C&E Construction Managers in the mid-1990s, He guided commercial construction spanning more than 50 projects and ensured that code requirements were met by engineers and architects. He also worked closely with government planning offices at the local and regional level to secure required permits.

As project manager with Dale Gruber Construction in St. Cloud from 1999 to 2005, Mr. Elyea oversaw approximately 30 major commercial and residential design-build remodeling jobs, designing projects on CAD models and engaging with field personnel to ensure steady progress toward completion. An avid outdoorsman, Sidney Elyea enjoys fishing on Lake Minnewashta in his free time.
